Eby SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office (Excel) add-in

If a Core-Mark user carrying a Core-Mark laptop requires the Eby SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office (Excel) add-in you will need to do the following to make it work correctly.

Install SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office 2.8SP19 from Software Center.  

Make sure choosing the correct version as the SAP EPM/Analysis version is for Core-Mark, not Eby

Also, can only have one or the other installed. NOT BOTH

Once installed you will need to edit the user PC's hosts file.

1. Open Notepad as an administrator by right-clicking the Notepad icon and choosing "Run as administrator".

2. Browse to the folder (/windows/system32/drivers/etc) that contains the hosts file.

3. Open the hosts file in Notepad by clicking "File", "Open", and navigating to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc.

4. Make the necessary changes to the file.

5. Click "File" and then "Save" to save your changes.

3. Add the following:

10.101.0.101         npwnbjpap01 #SAP BW for Office workaround

10.101.0.225         npwnbwpap01 #SAP BW for Office workaround

ex.

If SAP add-in is failing to install from Software Center may be because they had the previous version installed at some point. 

Remove the following from PC before running the install from Software Center.

Could be more or less than what is in this pic as time goes on, so best bet is to sort by Installed on date so you can see all that was installed on the day the SAP Analysis or EPM add-in was installed.

Then try to install again.
